Six From Fairfield County Charged With DWI In NY State Police Stops

New York State Police troopers busted more than a dozen motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the last week-plus in the area.

The local residents charged were:

Westchester County

  • On Saturday, Dec. 8, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Santiago M. Raymundo,  26, of New Rochelle, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9 in Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 8, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Alexander Castillo, 31, of Cortlandt, for DWI. He was traveling on Main Street in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Dec. 9, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Jorge R. Uguna Fernandez, 39, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on Depew Street in Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

  • On Friday, Dec. 7, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Grzegorz Kloskowski, 46, of Carmel, for DWI. He was traveling on the Bear Mountain Parkway in Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Monday, Dec. 10, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Cornelio De Jesus Jiminez Perez, 23, of Brewster, for DWI. He was traveling on Main Street in Brewster, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Friday, Dec. 7, State Police troopers from Dover Plains arrested Erica M. Rosado, 28, of Wappinger,, for DWI.   • On Saturday, Dec. 8, State Police troopers from Stormville arrested David A. C. Cohn, 31, of LaGrange, for Aggravated DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 8, State Police troopers from Rhinebeck arrested Joanne M. Lazaroff, 59, of Rhinebeck, for DWI.   • On Sunday, Dec. 9, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Ricardo F. Guedes, 21, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 6 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
